The Background

Amesbury Football Club needed some improvement in their fencing to increase the security and privacy of their field. They aimed to avoid spectators watching matches from outside the grounds, disturbing those who had purchased their tickets to enjoy the game. Given Stonehenge Fencing & Landscape's long years of experience and expertise in creating high profile fencing, Amesbury Football Club approached us with an offer to replace their fence.

The Solution

We supplied and installed our custom made 6 ft high hit and miss fencing panels along the length of the football pitch to increase security and provide screening.

We decided to use hit and miss fencing to allow the wind to pass through, given that the site was very exposed. As the ground was extremely wet, we also added concrete posts to prevent the timber from rotting. Concrete is a highly durable material, which means that the fencing will not require any further work for many years to come.

Additionally, we were asked to supply and install a set of double gates to allow emergency services to access the pitch if required.

The Result or Feedback

Amesbury Football Club were thrilled with the result. Since we completed the project, Stonehenge Fencing & Landscape has become a proud sponsor of the club.
