Closeboard Fence, Amesbury

The Background

This was a residential project for a young couple who had recently purchased their first home in Amesbury (near Salisbury). The client’s request was to have a low maintenance front garden with boundary fencing.

The Solution

Stonehenge Fencing & Landscape installed a closeboard fence using timber posts and timber gravel boards with a finished height of 3ft with a capping strip on top. To do that, we had to remove the beech hedge and stumps. Once this was done, we then dug out the front garden with a mini digger removing all grass and roots. Then we put down a weed membrane over the front garden and distributed 20mm Cotswold stone to keep the area maintenance free.

The Result or Feedback

The client was extremely happy with the finished project, and we have carried out other work for them and their family.
